FoYo
Owner / Yoga Teacher / Nutritionist / Health Antropologist
Houston, Texas Area
Sine Vind is a Danish 500 RYT yoga teacher, nutritionist and the owner of FoYo (food & yoga).
After working many years as a nutritionist and senior lecturer within the public health system in Denmark, Sine and her family moved to the US in 2016. From her current base in Houston, Texas Sine runs her own business working with yoga, nutrition and essentials oils. Her work is dedicated to help people feel better in their everyday lives through meditation, yoga asanas, relaxation, breath work and healthy eating.
Back in Denmark Sine started practicing yoga in 2001. A few years later she became a student and teacher within Ashtanga and vinyasa yoga. However, after living, working and studying in Bay Area, California Sine is now focusing more on gentle yoga, yin yoga and restorative yoga. In Bay Area Sine worked as a yoga teacher for Stanford Cancer Care program, a program dedicated to offer cancer patients and relatives free access to yoga every day. Working with yoga and nutrition within the field of integrated medicine has proven to be valuable without limitations.
In addition to being a yoga teacher Sine has a BA in human nutrition and a master degree in anthropology. In her daily work with clients and students she enjoys combining her different areas of expertise to guide people to a life of less stress, pain or anxiety. “Every time I teach a class or work with a client, I know that this is exactly what I’m supposed to do. The true value of the work I do can be read in the faces of my students and clients as they walk out of a yoga session or consultation”.
